6:00 a big day for oakland clorox the company sold off our moral and sdp for $780 million. off the sales will be used by clorox to buy back stock. the other big news from clorox the company could move jobs from oakland to nearby pleasanton. the staff would be moved to assist researchers already on the pleasanton campus. that could mean more than 500 jobs will be shifting cities. dan curve and tells us what the move means for pleasanton. >> it's your this old washington mutual complex and pleasant in the courts plans to house its new research and development operations rasas relocate more than 500 employees from oakland. >> provides hope for folks in that recruiting opportunities for employment possibly in the future and the synergy of having all these businesses come to pleasanton is not only good for us but the tri valley to. >> especially since rent is so

the corner confirms the remains found in san bruno belongs to a missing family this picture shows gregory and his son william james day and gregory's mother wrote were killed in the blast and fire. according to dna tests to identify the remains the confirmation brings the gas line explosion death toll to 7. the explosion struck on september the ninth of these are the frightening pictures from the night the fire destroyed 34 homes beyond repair and three others were severely damaged as well as several cars. it left a trail of destruction through december neighborhood. tomorrow crews will begin the cleanup. christine conley has details of what that will include. >here you see the heavy equipment that crews moved in to

get ready to remove debris here on thursday but watching through the process the health department said as they begin by taking away some of the burned out cars like you see here. crews will focus on one property at a time and as i pan over here you can see it's hard to tell exactly where these properties are , which is why crews have put up signs like this one here that shows the addresses of where these homes once stood. they will take away all the ash and all of the debris like what you're looking at here on the ground. once all that is hauled away they will tear down the chimneys and the walls. they will take out the foundations and go about 2 to 3 in. deep in the soil. here's what the health department had to say how they'll protect the neighborhood while their doing this work. >>while were working we'll be monitoring the perimeter but we'll also be monitoring each individual worksite going on. the minute that we find any information that shows their is going on here that could be hazardous, it will be completely put to a stop. >>in san bruno, christine conley
